Post Production- Editing

while editing my magazine I changed a couple things. Majority of it I was spacing and moving it to the center or off center. I'd like to think that what I had is how the best I could be. Another thing that I changed throughout the process of me creating my magazine underrated Passions would be the pictures. I change the cover picture from a collage of four different pictures too one singular picture of color guard. This way people who want to investigate my magazine, would have to open my magazine  to see what the concept  is about.   

Peer Review

As I presented my magazine to my classmates', I got the chance to get valuable feedback. At first when I looked back at what I've previously done, I have realized my format for my feature article was not how I wanted it to be.  I got great suggestions such as to make my text into columns instead of horizontal and I really liked that idea. When looking back at my magazine I also noticed how my content page was off centered, so I had to fix that. They also suggested to fill the page more to make it look fuller. Not only that but, to change the numbers for they would not be from 1,2,3,4 etc. to more like 3,6,8,10. For my cover page, they recommended me to change the blue and red into just one color. Not only that but to put the selling lines into shapes for example, bubbles. This will help it pop out more. Another thing would be to make it more like a magazine than a book. When they told me...

Production 6 Final Edits

Finishing with all the final changes I got stuck on one big problem. Changing the font colors. It took me a good chunk of time to figure out how to change the color. While yes, it is a  really simple  task it was harder than it seems. I felt like I was losing my mind just for a color,  since there was just so many different  options  to  choose  from  but when I found the  color it was such a stress release.  Although when I did find the color swatches, I started to play  around to see what the best would be. Changing each  different  work to different color it hit me how I really liked red  overall .  Working with InDesign has really been a learning experience that I will never forget. All these weeks trying and trying  to figure out this new program and seeing how to make the best out of something I had no clue of,  I feel like I have better understanding now.
