To Team or Not to Team

While considering my option’s on whether to work on my portfolio this year for Aice Media Studies independently or with a team I have conclude what the best for me is to work independently. My experience with the “Social Media Peer Account” has shown how each and every one controls their social media in a different way. There are some people who would much rather post retweets from other Instagram and some who would much rather not post anything at all. There is also people who post pictures of there lives and on them self's. For my peer whose Instagram that I have evaluated, her social media consists of pictures of friends and family. This makes her look like a humble person and someone who looks trustworthy. You can see that her family is an important aspect to her. For the lost at sea team-building activity I have came to a realization that everyone thinks differently. Many people priority's different things and have lots of different perspectives on what can be helpful to one. While looking at the lost at sea team building activity, everyone had different perspectives on what can and can't be used. Others priority what they though would be most useful to them. This team building activity really made many of us look at things differently. We all got to see the perspectives of others and got to see how and why each and every student choose what they choose. For the article “The effect of personality type on team performance”, it talks about, how in order for to get a better understanding of each person's personality, you have to work together. This is to get a successful system going on with each other. Another thing that they talk about is how each member of the group has one specific thing that they must do or else it wouldn’t work as efficient. While the author talks about how in order to work with people you must understand them, he also talks about personality types. These personality type differ for each and every student. Not only in “The effects of personality types on team performant's” in Songwriting loafing or creative collaboration? A comparison of individual and team written billboard hits in the USA.” they also talk about personality differ from each and every student. In this article they talk more on how the music relates to everyone no matter what. A psychologist says how It can be like a person's personality or how they socially identity. Another way people can relate to personality's to music is if they relate to the song. Since many songs already have strong meaning tied into the meaning of the songs, the person’s listing to the song can feel all the emotion and that tends to be why they love or replay he song all the time. This helps us look at everyday things into another perspective because who would have known that music could have such a deep meaning.
